Job Overview Apollo Micro Systems Limited is seeking a Mid-Level Chief Information Security Officer for a full-time position based in Hyderabad. The candidate will lead the company’s information security strategy, ensuring the protection of technological assets and compliance with industry standards. This role is vital for safeguarding the organization’s data in the dynamic fields of aerospace, defense, and more. Preferred Background The ideal candidate must come from a Defense, BSF, or CRPF background, which will provide the necessary experience and perspective required for this role. Qualifications and Skills In-depth knowledge of security architecture (Mandatory skill). Ability to design, implement and manage security awareness training programs (Mandatory skill). Proven experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, or similar. Strong knowledge of threat intelligence tools and methodologies to proactively address potential risks. Expertise in regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and industry standards. Experience in governance practices for managing risk, ensuring data integrity and security across operations. Ability to lead security incident response teams and manage mitigation strategies effectively. Strong analytical skills to evaluate security needs and design solutions that align with business objectives. Roles and Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain a robust information security strategy aligning with business goals. Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate threats. Establish and oversee company-wide security policies to safeguard data and technological assets. Lead the organization in achieving compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with IT and operational teams to integrate security measures into business processes. Oversee and provide guidance on the management of security incidents, investigations, and breach reporting. Champion a culture of security awareness through regular training and communication efforts across the organization.
