The Role Objective:

As the new CFO, you will play a pivotal role in developing a future-ready finance organization, driving operational excellence, and acting as a key business partner across the company. You will lead a diverse and talented finance team across Reporting, Controlling, Legal, GST, and Direct Tax – and take the function to the next level in terms of structure, culture, and value creation.

The Role Requires:

• Leading and developing BESTSELLER India’s Finance organization with approximately 6 direct reports across core Finance areas.
• Continuously adapting and optimizing the organization to meet future business needs and ensure efficiency, scalability, and value creation.
• Being a key sparring partner to the Country Director and the Head of Global Finance on strategic and commercial decisions.
• Ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting (“House in Order”) while building a function that enables growth and business impact.
• Transforming Finance from a cost Centre to a profit Centre – driving insights, performance, and decision support across the business.
• Leading the cultural and people development agenda within Finance, empowering your leaders while staying close to the business.
• Supporting the continued transformation of BESTSELLER India’s Direct-to-Consumer (Retail and E-commerce) business through strong financial steering and strategic partnership.

Skills Required:

A modern finance leader with a strong business mindset and proven international experience. You combine strategic thinking with operational execution and have a genuine passion for developing people and organizations.

• A solid background within finance leadership – ideally as CFO, Finance Director, or similar in an international environment.
• Experience from Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Goods is a clear advantage, but not a strict requirement.
• Strong skills in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder management.
• A proactive, transformation-oriented mindset – thriving in dynamic environments and driving change with clarity and purpose.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, fostering collaboration and empowerment across functions.
• Fluency in English and a strong cultural understanding of working in international organizations.
