Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Engineer located in Chennai. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering operations, including maintenance of the property, equipment, and systems. Day-to-day tasks include supervising the engineering team, scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing budgets for repairs and maintenance. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in engineering operations and maintenance management
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in safety regulations and compliance
• Budgeting and financial management skills
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
