The responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following areas and activities. You must be familiar with and comply with the hotel's mission and standards when performing maintenance activities. It is essential to maximize the potential of the maintenance team with a balanced focus on operations, guest satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Prioritizing, planning, scheduling, assigning, and supervising the engineering department staff is a key aspect of this role. You will oversee maintenance tasks, work orders, and special projects to ensure their timely and accurate completion. Promptly responding to guests" maintenance needs and providing professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service to hotel standards is crucial. Maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems, falls under your responsibilities. Installation and maintenance of equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, water treatment, fire safety, and other areas are also part of the role. It is important to ensure proper records are kept for all plant and equipment, including repair and service records. Additionally, preparing reports as required by the General Manager is necessary. Maintaining adequate stocks of materials, equipment, and tools in a clean and safe environment is essential. You will also be responsible for the cleanliness and safety aspects of all plant and mechanical equipment rooms. Collaboration with the Housekeeping team in Room Periodic Maintenance is required. Training engineering department staff on correct maintenance procedures and providing assistance in repairs as needed is part of your responsibilities. Monitoring and testing the hotel's emergency and security systems, such as Fire Alarm, CCTV, and baggage scanners, is crucial. Developing, implementing, and directing all emergency programs and managing energy conservation programs to minimize expenses for the property are also key aspects of this role.,
