Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Chief Business Officer in Mumbai to drive aggressive market expansion, strategic sales, and business development across Greater Mumbai and Maharashtra. The candidate must have hands-on experience in spearheading high-value client acquisitions, develop partnerships, and driving revenue through cross-selling of fintech-led solutions. Job Location: Mumbai Experience Level: 10+ years in Sales, Branch Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management CTC Range: As per industry standards + Performance Linked Bonus Qualifications: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / PGDM or equivalent qualification in Finance, Banking, or Risk Management Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end client acquisition lifecycle – from lead generation, relationship building, nurturing to deal structuring and closure Identify and convert MSMEs, corporates, former and HNIs through structured acquisition strategies Build and scale regional revenue pipelines by cross-selling wealth, insurance and lending solutions on our platform Assessment & execution of debt transactions with investors/lenders for corporate clientele Liaising with investors/lenders and preparation of transaction documents Identify, evaluate, and onboard FINTECH and allied partners to strengthen regional reach and service offerings Develop localized go-to-market strategies aligned with business goals Collaborate with internal product teams to drive cross-selling of wealth management solutions and financial products Leverage existing client relationships to enhance wallet share and deliver value-added services Coordinate closely with technology and product teams to ensure smooth integration and activation of partnerships Drive a high-performance sales culture with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding regional revenue and onboarding targets Monitor and analyze sales metrics, prepare regular reporting, and implement course corrections where necessary Mentor and guide local sales teams and associates to ensure alignment with company goals Develop and execute localized business strategies tailored to regional dynamics Act as the face of the FINTECH brand and ensure a seamless physical-to-digital customer journey Coordinate with the central operations and tech team to resolve service and system issues Generate revenue through cross-selling and upselling FINTECH-enabled wealth solutions Must Have: Progressive experience and proven track record in MSME Lending, Corporate Finance, or Business Banking (NBFCs Preferred) 10+ years of experience in branch banking, financial advisory, or wealth management Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes transactions with senior-level stakeholders Ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment, creative, and quick thinking Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights Previous experience with Startup ecosystem or exposure to FINTECH/BFSI vertical Joining: Immediate About Us : BankersKlub is a first-of-its-kind startup, (certified by Startup India) platform that facilitates financial and strategic advisory, connecting former banking professionals with the corporate ecosystem, MSMEs, and startups across India.
