Job Title: Chartered Accountant – Consulting and Accounts Outsourcing Division
Yesjay Associates is a leading audit and consultancy firm known for its strong standards in financial advisory, accounting, tax, and compliance services. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our Consulting and Accounts Outsourcing Division for both domestic and international clients. This role involves leadership, client management, and strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consulting and Financial Advisory
Provide expert financial consulting services including financial analysis, monthly reporting, MIS reporting for clients and their investors and partners, serving as their Virtual CFO, and guiding internal audit teams.

• Assist clients in streamlining financial operations to improve efficiency, profitability, and financial discipline.
• Prepare and review financial statements, projections, MIS reports, cash flows, and budgets, along with financials required for bank loans, investments, and business plans.
• Conduct financial due diligence and analytical reviews to support informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.
• Schedule internal audits, set MIS reporting timelines, and coordinate with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Team Leadership

• Lead the division and provide continuous mentoring and guidance to the team, including CA and CMA articled assistants. Mentor CA articles and junior team members to support their professional development.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all deliverables.
• Allocate work effectively, monitor progress, track team performance, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct performance reviews in coordination with the HR team.
• Establish and maintain best practices for accounting, reporting, documentation, and compliance.
• Review client deliverables regularly to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to service standards.

Conduct technical training on accounting standards, tax updates, software, and compliance. Promote a culture of continuous learning, quality, and accountability.

Client Relationship and Issue Resolution

• Act as the primary point of contact for outsourcing clients and consulting clients.
• Communicate insights, recommendations, and deliverables clearly and professionally.
• Resolve escalations promptly and maintain service excellence.
• Build strong long-term client relationships to support business growth.

• Proficiency in Tally, advanced Excel, and accounting tools.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with active membership. Certificate of Practice will be an added advantage.
• Minimum one year of post qualification experience in a practicing firm or consulting environment with the ability to work in a fast paced setup.
• Strong command of Tally, Zoho, accounting tools, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
• High professional ethics with a strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
• Confidence in handling client interactions, clarifying requirements, and providing guidance.
• Fluency in English and Malayalam.
