Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chartered Accountant to manage the financial, accounting, and compliance responsibilities for our Dubai operations. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to construction/real estate finance and the ability to independently handle accounts, audits, MIS, and statutory requirements in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for Dubai projects.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per UAE standards.

Ensure accurate general ledger management and timely book closure.

Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for project sites.

Project & Cost Accounting

Monitor project-wise cost allocation, material consumption, and variance analysis.

Coordinate with project managers to track BOQ, labour cost, subcontractor payments, and project profitability.

Ensure proper documentation and verification of supplier/contractor invoices.

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations; oversee VAT filing and documentation.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Ensure adherence to company financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Oversee vendor payments, subcontractor bills, and credit control.

Manage client invoices, collections, and follow-ups.

Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and intercompany accounts.

MIS & Management Support

Prepare detailed MIS reports for management review.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Participate in project review meetings and support the Dubai office with financial planning.

Qualifications & Experience

Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Minimum 5–10 years of experience, preferably in the construction or real estate sector.

Prior work experience in the UAE / GCC is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, and financial compliance.

Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with integrity and ownership.

Additional Requirements

Male candidate preferred (as per role requirement for site and project coordination).

Willingness to relocate and work from Dubai immediately.

Strong adaptability to multicultural environments.
