Description
The Channel Sales Manager role at Motadata involves developing, managing, and expanding the channel partner network in order to drive revenue growth, enhance brand value, and increase market penetration in the West markets. Your responsibilities will include engaging with end customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to post-sale relationship management. You will need to identify potential channel partners, negotiate contracts, and ensure mutual success by managing relationships effectively. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in sales and channel management, possess strong business acumen, and excel in communication and negotiation skills. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proactively identifying and recruiting new channel partners to expand market presence. - Strengthening existing partnerships and executing strategies to onboard and train new partners effectively. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key end customers to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions. - Nurturing relationships with existing channel partners through regular meetings and business reviews. - Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve revenue targets through channel partners, monitoring sales performance metrics, and taking corrective actions as needed. - Researching and identifying new market opportunities, collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop localized strategies. - Negotiating and managing contracts with channel partners, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with company policies. - Providing training and support to channel partners on products, sales techniques, and market strategies. - Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and partner activities to make informed decisions and optimize channel strategies. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, strong relationship building abilities, adaptability to changing market conditions, leadership qualities, and excellent negotiation skills. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred), along with 5+ years of experience in sales and channel management, is required. You should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share through channel partners, as well as a strong understanding of international/domestic markets and cultural nuances. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to travel internationally as needed are also essential for this role.,
