Channel Sales Executive

• A Channel Sales Executive drives sales through indirect channels like partners, distributors, and resellers by building relationships, developing sales strategies, and recruiting new partners. Key responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, providing partners with training and support, and collaborating with internal teams like marketing to create promotional materials and drive growth.

• Core responsibilities

• Partner relationship management: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing channel partners and distributors.

• Sales strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies that leverage the channel to achieve revenue targets.

• Partner recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard new potential channel partners to expand market reach.

• Sales enablement: Train and support partners to enhance their sales capabilities and ensure they have the knowledge and resources to sell effectively.

• Performance monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of channel partners, analyzing data and providing regular reports and forecasts.

• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to develop and execute promotional activities and with other internal teams to align channel initiatives with business goals.

• Issue resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with channel partners.

• Key skills and qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.

• Experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting.
