Selection & Research

• Identify investment opportunities across sectors and market caps based on deep fundamental analysis.
• Conduct bottom-up research to generate high-conviction long-term ideas unconstrained by benchmarks or sector limitations.
• Understand the dynamics of multiple sectors and quickly understand sector undercurrents and megatrends
  

Qualitative Research

• Evaluate management quality, corporate governance practices, industry structure, and business models.
• Attend earnings calls, filings, investor presentations, and management meetings.
  

Financial Analysis & Modeling

• Build and maintain basic as well as detailed financial models, including projections, valuation (DCF, relative valuation, SOTP), and sensitivity analysis.
• Analyze key financial metrics, quality of earnings, and capital allocation patterns.
  

Technical Analysis

• Cursory idea of technical analysis. Ability to understand charts and create basic charts.
  

• Contribute regularly to internal investment discussions and strategy meetings.
  

Maintenance Research, Monitoring & Review

• Continuously monitor portfolio stocks and recommended ideas.
• Update internal stakeholders on triggers, risks, or valuation shifts.
  

Advisory Role & Client Outreach

• Should communicate his ideas effectively to the investors upon the request of respective dealers or RMs.
• Should remain constantly connected with the RMs and Dealers and communicate ideas to them on a constant basis.
• Should accompany RMs on client meetings and pitch investment and trading ideas to investors.
• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA Charterholder or Level 2/3 candidates (preferred)
• Experience in tracking Indian listed companies across sectors and market caps
• Proven ability to work independently in an unconstrained investment environment
• Well experienced in financial modeling, accounting, and valuation capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas confidently
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms such as ACE Equity, Capitaline, Screener, Trenlyne, Tijori, etc. Bloomberg and any technical analysis would be an added advantage.
