About the Role:

Personal Care, Home care

Category Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for Personal Care and Home Care (e.g., skincare, haircare, oral care, bath & body, household cleaning, laundry care)
• Conduct in-depth market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify new product opportunities and category white spaces.
• Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Compute OTB and Allocation plan

Sourcing & Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and on board new manufacturers and suppliers globally and domestically for private label products, ensuring adherence to quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, payment conditions, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and maximize profitability.
• Manage existing vendor relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in product quality, delivery, and service.

Commercial & Financial Management:

• Deliver on Budgeted sales, margin and RGM
• Manage category budgets, sales forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize waste.
• Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Monitor category performance against KPIs such as sales growth, gross margin, inventory turnover, and market share.

Quality & Compliance:

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all private label products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve any product quality issues or customer complaints effectively and promptly

Education & Experience:

• Masters with 8-12 years of relevant experience
