Role Summary

MDM Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement robust MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.
• Define and develop matching, survivorship, deduplication, and data quality rules to create and maintain Golden Records.
• Build and execute scalable MDM business cases, technical roadmaps, and frameworks for value realization.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them
  

Data Governance & Metadata Management

• Implement data governance best practices, policies, and standards using Informatica CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog).
• Lead initiatives for metadata management, lineage tracking, and stewardship workflows.
• Define and manage data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, and domain-specific policies.
  

Data Integration & Cloud Enablement

• Design and build data pipelines and transformation workflows using Informatica, dbt, Matillion, or HVR.
• Work with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift) to architect and operationalize cloud-native MDM solutions.
• Ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and publishing for enterprise-wide data consumption.
  

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a technical leader, mentoring junior data engineers and MDM analysts.
• Liaise with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and Data Stewards to ensure alignment of MDM initiatives with enterprise goals.
• Provide hands-on guidance through technical design sessions, code reviews, and deployment Skills :
• Core MDM & Data Management : Informatica MDM (5+ years, including Hub Configuration, Business Entity Services) Match & Merge rules, Survivorship, Hierarchy Management IDD Configuration and SIF APIs Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Cloud Platforms & Data Engineering : Snowflake, AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda) dbt, Matillion, HVR, Informatica Cloud Services Strong SQL and data modeling (3NF, Star Schema, Data Vault)
• Data Governance & Metadata Tools : Informatica CDGC Collibra (preferred) Business Glossary & Metadata Curation Lineage and Impact Analysis
• Version Control, Deployment & Automation : Git, GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines Terraform or CloudFormation (for infrastructure provisioning) Shell scripting or Python for automation
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field 4+ years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM
• Proven expertise in implementing MDM strategies across multiple domains (Customer, Vendor, Product, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality processes, and master/slave architecture Experience working in cloud-based enterprise data Qualifications :
• Informatica MDM and CDGC Certifications Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with large-scale global data programs Background in regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing) is a plus
