Cafe Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day functioning of the café — kitchen, service, billing, and hygiene.
• Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.

1. Billing & Software Handling:

• Manage and operate billing systems like 

  Petpooja / Swiggy / Zomato

   efficiently.
• Ensure all transactions, discounts, and offers are entered accurately.
• Reconcile daily cash and digital payments at the end of each shift.

1. Team Supervision:

• Schedule shifts, monitor attendance, and maintain staff discipline.

1. Customer Service:

• Ensure every guest receives a great experience — prompt service, polite interaction, and issue resolution.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure quick redressal.

1. Sales & Targets:

• Track daily sales and ensure revenue targets are met.
• Suggest and implement upselling strategies or combo offers to boost sales.

1. Inventory & Stock Management:

• Monitor raw material usage and place orders timely.
• Maintain ideal stock levels and avoid wastage or pilferage.

1. Hygiene & Quality Control:

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in both kitchen and dining areas.
• Regularly check food quality, taste, and presentation.

1. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily sales reports, petty cash records, and staff performance logs.
• Share daily/weekly updates with the head office or owner.

1. Marketing & Promotions:

• Support local marketing activities, offers, and campaigns.
• Encourage positive customer reviews and repeat visits.

1. Vendor & Maintenance Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors for timely supply and service requirements.
• Ensure all equipment and café assets are in proper working condition.
