Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Store Management

• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the caf including opening, closing, hygiene, and SOP compliance.
• Maintain inventory control, minimize wastage, and coordinate procurement of coffee, F&B, and bakery items.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and statutory standards.

2. Sales & Financial Performance

• Drive

  Average Sales Per Day (ASPD)

  and meet monthly sales targets.
• Monitor cost control (rent, overheads, utilities, and staff scheduling) to optimize profitability.
• Assist in execution of promotions, discounts, and new menu launches.

3. Customer Engagement & Experience

• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive caf experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, gyms (Golds, Cult), corporates, and students.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

4. Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and supervise caf staff including baristas, kitchen assistants, and service crew.
• Conduct regular team briefings, ensure staff adherence to recipes and SOPs.
• Motivate team with performance targets, recognition programs, and continuous training.

5. Marketing & Business Development

• Execute local marketing initiatives – WhatsApp campaigns, social media engagement, Swiggy/Zomato dine-in traction.
• Collaborate with the brand team on Meta ads and digital promotions.
• Support community-building activities such as open mics, breakfast promotions, and food trials.

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of caf/restaurant operations, POS systems, and inventory management.
• Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Financial acumen – ability to read P&L, track ASPD, and monitor ROI.
• Creativity in driving sales through marketing and community engagement.
