About the Role
We are seeking a CAA Developer with strong expertise in 3DExperience CATIA (V6) to drive customization, automation, and development efforts within the Dassault Systems ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CATIA automation, scripting, and project execution, with hands-on experience translating client requirements into effective engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities
1.Demonstrate strong understanding of CAA workbench using 3DExperience CATIA (V6).
2.Develop automation tools and customizations using VBA scripting (preferred).
3 .Work independently across the project lifecycle: requirement gathering, technical analysis, development, testing, delivery, and support.
4.Interpret client needs and translate them into actionable technical plans.
5.Conduct Voice of Customer (VoC) surveys to capture and define technical requirements.
6.Present POC solutions through PowerPoint presentations or short demo videos.
7.Prepare project plans, commit to timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery.
8.Contribute to automation of electrical drawings and related processes.
9 .Work with Circuit Tables, Circuit Diagrams, Harness Layout Drawings, and creation of harness layouts from 3D wire harness models.
10.Develop tools to automate conversion of 3D wire harness to circuit drawings.
11.Apply basic 3D modeling skills including Part Design and Surface Design. Qualifications & Skills
1.Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
2.5–10 years of experience in CAD customization, automation, and development.
3.Proven experience working in a Dassault Systems / CATIA environment.
4.Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
5.Strong project management capabilities.
6.Prior experience in client-facing roles preferred.
7.Ability to lead a small team of 2–3 engineers effectively. Preferred Experience
1.Previous experience in electrical drawing automation using CATIA tools.
2.Familiarity with VBA scripting, macros, and CAA programming for automation.
3.Exposure to Digital Mock-Up (DMU) and Electrical Harness Design workflows.
