Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Procurement of Aggregates, Cement, Sand, Fly ash, GGBS and Admixture on time for production of concrete also timely delivery of the Raw material to the RMX Plants, in close coordination with the local team, Exploration of new vendors for Raw materials

Key Responsibilities of Role


    1. Implement VMI and consignment-based stocking for aggregates/ sand (Implementation at respective areas) 1. Conduct routine negotiations, obtain market intelligence by interface with key common suppliers and industry associations, Benchmarking of prices against competition (our prices should be lower than competition in 95% cases) 1. Working capital management Negotiate payment terms with vendors 1. Implementation of procurement BOS, audit recommendations 1. Implementation of tender committee process 1. Address supplier grievances and hold regular meets 1. Proactive monitoring of stocks

Technical Competencies


    In-dept knowledge of regulatory law Strategic Orientation,Knowledge of the legal aspects of RMC industry,Contract drafting,Legislation and compliance,Litigation management

Qualifications and Experience


    Essential B.E / MBA Desirable/Preferable B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, Production Total Years (Band) 10 to 12 years
