We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business-Product & Program Manager to drive the evolution of merchant onboarding, device deployment, and service flows for Paytm’s offline merchant ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business, product, and operations — ensuring seamless onboarding journeys, strong policy alignment, and smooth collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of merchant acquiring flows (DIY and Assisted), can translate business goals into scalable product solutions, and can manage complex cross-functional programs with speed and precision.
1. Merchant Onboarding & Product Flow Management
- Design, optimize, and manage merchant onboarding journeys across both DIY and Assisted channels.
- Drive improvements in conversion rates and turnaround times for onboarding journeys.
- Partner with product and tech teams to build scalable solutions for merchant acquisition.
2. Device Deployment & QR Mapping
- Define and manage Device Deployment Flows for Soundbox (SB) and EDC terminals.
- Streamline and own the QR mapping flows ensuring frictionless merchant activation.
- Collaborate with logistics, ops, and product teams to ensure deployment SLAs and policy adherence.
3. Revisit & Service Flows
- Structure and improve revisit journeys to enhance merchant reactivation and upgrade experiences.
- Own service flow definitions and ensure they are integrated with backend and partner systems.
4. Policy & Compliance Alignment
- Liaison with risk, compliance, and policy teams to align onboarding & document collection policies with regulatory and internal standards.
- Proactively identify gaps in process and documentation, driving compliance-led product improvements.
5. Program Management & Execution
- Lead cross-functional program planning and execution across Product, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Business teams.
- Define and track OKRs, monitor program health, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication for all onboarding and deployment journeys.
- 5–8 years of experience in Product Management / Program Management / Business Strategy roles in payments, fintech, banking, or allied industries.
- Strong understanding of merchant onboarding, device deployment, and KYC documentation flows.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Risk, Compliance).
- Excellent problem-solving, data interpretation, and program execution skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.
- Prior experience in merchant acquiring / payments / POS / QR ecosystem.
- Familiarity with regulatory and policy frameworks for merchant onboarding.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Structured communication, analytical thinking, and execution excellence.
