About the Role Power BI Developer - BOXI to Power BI- Mandate We are looking for Senior candidates only 7+ years Experience: 7+ Years Rate: Up to 16 LPA Shift Time: 11am - 9pm Start Date: Immediate -Joiners only. Pls apply Location: Bangalore & Noida (flexible to WFO in Hybrid Mode 10 Days) No of Interviews: 2 Job Description: 1. Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile. 2. Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from BOXI to Power BI. 3. Data Analysis: Excellent understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data transformation. 4. DAX Functions: Proficiency in DAX functions for complex calculations. 5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams. 6. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions. 7. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certifications are preferred. 8. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or MicroStrategy. 9. Familiarity with SQL and database management. 10. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Responsibilities key Responsibilities: • Migration Expertise: Lead the migration process from BOXI to Power BI, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations. • Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and reports using Power BI. • Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support efficient business performance. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • DAX Functions: Utilize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions to perform complex calculations and enhance data insights. • Integration: Integrate Power BI reports into other applications to provide enhanced business capabilities. • Performance Optimization: Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and performance of BI solutions. • Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference and training purposes. • The candidate will have extensive experience in data visualization, business intelligence, and specifically in migrating from BusinessObjects (BOXI) to Power BI. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that convert business data into actionable insights. Working with SEI environment moving BO universe to Power BI is must.
