About the Role

Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for the company’s digital marketing service offerings (SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Paid Ads, Performance Marketing, Web Development, App development, etc.).
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and penetrate high-potential industry verticals across India.

Market Development & Strategy

  • Research, analyze, and map target markets, understanding client challenges, competition, and digital transformation trends.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored for Indian regions.
  • Identify profitable new revenue streams and align sales strategies with company objectives.

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and CRM systems for prospecting and pipeline management.

Consultative / Solution Selling

  • Engage with prospects to understand their marketing objectives, budgets, and challenges.
  • Present customized proposals and digital marketing solutions that demonstrate measurable ROI and business value.
  • Conduct impactful presentations and online demonstrations to C-level executives, marketing directors, and decision-makers.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead qualification, proposal preparation, pitch, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics.

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships to foster upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as the key liaison between clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with digital marketing, creative, and delivery teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Provide feedback from the market to leadership and product teams for continuous improvement of services.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven experience

    in sales/business development within the Digital Marketing Services industry.
  • Strong experience in selling across Indian markets with cultural adaptability and understanding of different business environments.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Experience in selling to Marketing Heads, CMOs, and C-level executives in mid-size to enterprise organizations.
  • Excellent skills in consultative selling, solution pitching, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email prospecting, and other lead generation platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
