Business Development Manager

You will be working at Servd, a leading Food Media House that joined forces with Swiggy in 2024. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - **Lead Generation:** - Drive high-impact business opportunities through strategic prospecting, industry networking, and partnerships. - Identify scalable opportunities aligned with business priorities and oversee the full revenue funnel. - **Client Engagement:** - Build, manage, and grow relationships with key clients. - Understand their business goals to pitch comprehensive, high-value content and media solutions. - **Market Research:** - Stay ahead of industry trends, client shifts, and competitor activity. - Identify business opportunities, refine positioning, and guide strategic outreach. - **Collaboration:** - Partner closely with Content, Production, Post Production teams. - Ensure alignment and deliver client solutions effectively, driving internal accountability toward shared goals. - **Brand Representation:** - Represent the company and its offerings professionally during client meetings, pitches, and industry events. - **Team Management:** - Lead, coach, and support junior team members. - Ensure goal alignment, performance tracking, and capability building across the BD function. The ideal candidate for this role would have: - 5-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing. - Strong preference for candidates with media sales or content sales experience. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proven ability to independently own and scale client accounts, drive revenue growth, and contribute to overall business strategy. - Experience in leading teams, managing performance, and fostering collaboration across functions. - Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment. - A deep understanding of the media and content landscape, with insights on how brands engage with content platforms and audiences.,
