About Skydo Skydo, a US-headquartered b2b cross-border payments platform, was founded in early 2022 by Movin Jain (2x founder, Product leader, ex-PhonePe) and Srivatsan Sridhar (ex-McKinsey, business leader, ex-Ola, Rupeek). Our product was launched in Nov'22 - to help small Indian businesses collect their export payments globally in a fast, convenient and cost-effective manner. We are solving an acute pain point and seeing strong adoption and retention from our early cohorts. Srivatsan and Movin are alumni of premier institutions (IIT, IIM, ISB) and have about 15 years of work experience each across large companies and technology startups. Skydo’s team is 50 member strong, based in Bangalore, with an excellent blend of experienced and young talent from premier institutions and companies. Position overview: Skydo , is looking for Business Development Manager(s) - Field Sales to join our Sales team. This role will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for selling Skydo's cross-border payment solutions to prospective and existing customers. The Business Development Manager will have sales quotas for adding new customers, as well as revenue targets from existing customers. What You'll Do Territory mapping (identifying and compiling prospect data) Events, partnerships and activation to warm up leads in the territory Market intelligence on prospects, competitive action and feedback to business, product teams on customer insights Give warm leads to AE / Inside sales team for conversion Convert leads referred from Inside sales through in-person meetings, trust building Manage portfolio of customers to solve for retention, wallet share growth and re-activating churned customers Represent Skydo in the best possible way in your territory and maintain strong ethics in your dealings with customers and industry partners Disciplined maintenance of database, CRM, call logs and customer insights What You Bring Strong sales background with approximately 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in SMB businesses preferably in financial services, exports/import services, logistics or adjacent industries. Hands-on experience with CRM systems and B2B customer funnel management (financial services or fintech experience preferred) Natural sales instincts with a focus on results, attention to detail, and strong execution Ability to quickly understand customer needs and build trust-based relationships Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions persuasively Strong industry network and connections Willingness to travel frequently while based in Bangalore or Delhi Location: Bangalore and Delhi, with frequent travel Show more Show less
