Job Description

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and manage
new business opportunities
across assigned territories.
Build and nurture
strong relationships
with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and builders.
Conduct regular
market research
to analyze competition, pricing trends, and consumer preferences.
Drive
primary and secondary sales
through effective channel development and market penetration.
Collaborate with
marketing and product teams
to design and execute promotional strategies, schemes, and campaigns.
Monitor
sales performance
, generate MIS reports, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Represent the company at
trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events
.
Ensure
timely collection of payments
and handle customer concerns efficiently.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
.
Proven ability to
generate leads, close deals, and consistently meet/exceed targets
.
In-depth knowledge of the
local market, customer base, and industry ecosystem
.
Proficiency in
MS Office, CRM tools, and digital reporting
.

Other Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business/Marketing or related field.
Valid driving license
and
own vehicle
is mandatory.
Willingness to
travel extensively
within the assigned territory.
Minimum 8 - 15
years of sales experience
in plywood, laminates, adhesives, MDF, or allied building material industry.
