Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall

    branch operations

    including

    sales, distribution, logistics, inventory, and staff supervision

    .
  • Achieve

    monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

    and branch revenue goals.
  • Lead and motivate the

    sales team

    to generate leads, close deals, and enhance

    customer satisfaction

    .
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with

    dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, and architects

    .
  • Monitor

    market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

    to drive business improvements.
  • Ensure proper

    stock management, timely order fulfillment, and customer service

    .
  • Coordinate with the

    head office

    for

    pricing, credit approvals, and marketing initiatives

    .
  • Maintain discipline, compliance, and reporting standards at the branch level.
  • Submit

    daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

    to management.
  • Ensure timely

    payment collection

    and manage

    credit control

    effectively.

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • MBA in

    Sales/Marketing/Operations

    preferred.

Experience:

  • 8 - 15 years

    of experience in

    branch/area management

    .
  • Must have worked in

    plywood, laminates, MDF, adhesives, or building materials

    .
  • Proven track record in handling

    sales targets, team leadership, and dealer/distributor networks

    .

  • Strong

    leadership & team management

    abilities.
  • Excellent

    sales, negotiation, and communication skills

    .
  • Knowledge of

    branch operations, local market dynamics, and supply chain logistics

    .
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver results.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office, ERP/CRM tools

    .

Other Requirements:

  • Must be from

    Pune / Ludhiana / Chandigarh

    (local candidates only).
  • Strong knowledge of

    local geography and customer base

    .
  • Valid

    driving license

    with own

    two-wheeler/four-wheeler

    for field travel.
  • Willingness to

    travel within the assigned region

    for business development and branch oversight.
