About the Role

Business Development Manager (BDM) – Sales

Team Leads, BDAs, and BDEs

What You’ll Do

Sales Funnel Management

  • Own the end-to-end B2C sales funnel — lead assignment → qualification → demo invitation → enrollment.
  • Drive sales with a strong focus on conversions and revenue achievement.
  • Monitor & optimize key KPIs:

    invite-to-show ratio, closure rate, conversion %, revenue per enrollment.

  • Ensure seamless collaboration between pre-sales and closure teams.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals through data-driven funnel optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate Team Leads, BDAs, and BDEs across regions.
  • Coach teams on consultative selling, objection handling, pitching, and closing.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to

    sales SOPs

    and

    CRM hygiene.

  • Drive team productivity through structured training and feedback loops.

Process Excellence

  • Develop and standardize

    sales scripts, pitch decks, and SOPs

    for consistency.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks at each funnel stage.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to refine messaging, improve show-up rates, and enhance conversions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with

    Lead Generation, Marketing, Product, and Operations

    teams.
  • Share market insights and feedback to improve campaign quality and product positioning.
  • Align with

    Training and Demo

    teams on walk-in and enrollment targets.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver weekly/monthly reports on invites, walk-ins, closures, and revenue.
  • Use analytics to forecast pipelines and set realistic team targets.
  • Maintain dashboards for real-time tracking of pre-sales and closure performance.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • 2–6 years in

    B2C Sales, Inside Sales, Business Development, or Pre-Sales

    , preferably in

    EdTech / Upskilling / High-ticket B2C

    industries.

Leadership:

  • Proven track record managing teams (BDAs/BDEs/TLs) with measurable revenue outcomes.

Skills:

  • Strong in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent communication in

    English + one regional language

    (Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Odia,Tamil, kannada etc.).
  • Proficient in

    CRM systems, call tracking tools, and sales dashboards.
