Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities across industries that rely on high-volume customer communication — such as BFSI, eCommerce, EdTech, and Real Estate. The role demands a mix of strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and partnership development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Geta AI’s

    Chatbot, CPaaS, and Communication API

    solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy

    sales pipeline

    across enterprise and mid-market accounts.
  • Develop deep understanding of client requirements in

    customer engagement, lead nurturing, automation, and communications infrastructure

    .
  • Deliver tailored

    product demos

    and

    proof-of-concept (POC)

    sessions to demonstrate value.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine positioning and generate qualified leads.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals while ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Establish

    channel and technology partnerships

    with resellers, digital agencies, and system integrators.
  • Track competitor activities and emerging trends in

    CPaaS, AI automation, and conversational commerce

    .
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • 4–8 years of experience in

    B2B SaaS, CPaaS, telecom APIs, or conversational AI sales

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving

    revenue and client acquisition targets

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    communication APIs (SMS, WhatsApp Business API, voice, email, etc.)

    and

    AI-driven chatbots

    .
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into

    business ROI

    for non-technical buyers.
  • Excellent

    presentation, negotiation, and relationship management

    skills.
  • Experience in selling to verticals like

    BFSI, eCommerce, logistics, education, or healthcare

    is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and SaaS sales cycles.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology (MBA preferred).
  • Experience with

    solution selling
