Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager, located in Gurugram with a hybrid work model that includes some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, managing customer relationships, and providing top-notch customer service. Additionally, the role involves strategic planning, building and maintaining partnerships, and driving business growth through innovative solutions.


Identify and target potential corporate clients for mobility solutions in the Delhi region


Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets


Generate high-quality B2B leads through market research, networking, and field visits


Pitch and present Commutec’s services to HR/Admin/Facility Managers and decision-makers


Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring long-term relationships


Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services


Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions


Participate in industry events, client meetings, and product demos


Prepare sales reports and provide market feedback to senior management


Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in Lead Generation and Business Development
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and partnership building
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record in business development or similar roles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Knowledge of the transportation or mobility industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred in BBA, BCom, MBA – Sales/Marketing
  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B Sales / Business Development / Corporate Sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in field/client-facing roles
  • Knowledge of mobility/transport/logistics industry will be an advantage
  • Willing to travel across Delhi NCR for business meetings
