Role Overview:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities in PR, media strategy, and integrated communications
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, and relationship-building with decision-makers
Craft and deliver compelling pitch decks, proposals, and presentations customized to client needs
Collaborate with internal teams to understand service capabilities and align client expectations
Maintain sales funnel reports, tracking all outreach, meetings, and conversions
Represent Column Inches at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings to inform growth strategy

Requirements:

4-6 years of business development or sales experience in PR, advertising, media, or a marketing agency
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Background - Marketing/PR
Strong communication and presentation skills with a flair for storytelling
Comfort with consultative selling and managing long sales cycles
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of PR services and the media landscape in India is a strong plus
