Job Description

Experience Rice industry knowledge all kind of Rice Market Expansion: Identify and develop new markets for Vantara Rice, including retail, HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers), and bulk buyers. Brand Promotion: Execute brand development strategies to strengthen the presence of Vantara Rice in domestic and export markets. Sales Growth: Drive B2B and B2C sales; ensure monthly sales targets are met through field visits, partnerships, and customer engagement. Dealer/Distributor Network: Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and Rice Mart franchisees as per the company’s growth model. Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, price trends, and customer preferences in the rice industry. Export Marketing: Identify and approach international buyers, participate in trade shows, and coordinate documentation for rice exports. Team Coordination: Collaborate with the production, packaging, and logistics teams to fulfill orders efficiently. Reporting: Maintain daily activity reports, customer feedback, and submit performance updates to the senior management. Qualifications:Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration / Agriculture / Marketing / Food Technology. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the rice industry, preferably in Basmati and Non-Basmati segments. Domain Knowledge: Understanding of rice varieties, milling processes, packaging, and grading. Awareness of FSSAI, export documentation, and food quality standards. Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Brand building and product positioning. Field marketing and retail management. Export marketing and documentation. Language: Proficiency in Hindi and English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus. Other: Willingness to travel frequently for business development.
