Job Title: Business Development Manager Company: Tata AIA Life Insurance Location: As per branch / office location Job SummaryTata AIA Life Insurance is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to support sales activities, drive business growth, and coordinate with teams to ensure efficient execution of business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead development, channel coordination, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities1. Team Support & Sales CoordinationCoordinate daily activities related to business development and sales operations Assist sales and channel teams in achieving business/sales targets Ensure smooth communication and coordination within internal teams and channel partners 2. Business Administration & DocumentationManage documentation, KYC, policy processing, and reporting Schedule client meetings, follow-ups, and tele-calling activities Maintain records, sales reports, lead trackers, and revenue documents 3. Client Communication & Relationship BuildingAct as a point of contact between management, channel partners, and clients Share product updates, target goals, policy information, and business reports Resolve client queries professionally and escalate complex issues to management 4. Tracking Performance & Target ProgressTrack daily sales activities, pipeline development, and lead closure Support team leaders in reviewing business progress and performance metrics Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly business targets Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, Google Workspace Analytical mindset with a target-driven approach Positive attitude, problem-solving ability, and team collaboration skills QualificationsGraduate in any discipline 1–3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Insurance / BFSI / Coordination roles Experience in life insurance (preferred but not mandatory) What Tata AIA OffersCompetitive salary & performance-based incentives Professional training & career development Fast-track growth opportunities in the BFSI sector Supportive work environment with recognition programs
