Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving admissions, institutional growth, and brand positioning across the assigned region. This role involves creating and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, developing partnerships, and leading the regional business development team to achieve enrollment and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in educational marketing, business expansion, and regional operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Plan and execute annual admission targets, outreach campaigns, and brand-building activities.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the marketing and admissions teams to meet performance benchmarks.
  • Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and recommend strategic actions for growth.

2. Business Development & Institutional Growth

  • Identify and establish partnerships with schools, colleges, corporates, and agencies for student acquisition.
  • Drive new market penetration and expansion in assigned territories.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and promotional events to strengthen institutional visibility.
  • Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure value alignment across all initiatives.

3. Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee digital and offline marketing campaigns including social media, print, and event promotions.
  • Manage PR activities, branding materials, and institutional participation in education fairs.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to institutional communication standards.

4. Admissions & Revenue Targets

  • Achieve student enrollment and revenue goals for educational programs.
  • Monitor and optimize admission conversion ratios and the sales funnel.
  • Present performance reports and insights to senior leadership.

5. Team Management & Reporting

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales and marketing professionals.
  • Oversee fee collection and monitor regional financial performance.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports on sales, market trends, and projections.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM, and MS Office.
  • In-depth understanding of the education sector and admission cycles.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales and marketing, ideally within the education or institutional sector (schools, colleges, universities, or training institutes).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
