Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic:

  • This position holder will be responsible for business acquisition from market/ field
  • Person is responsible for analyzing market insights and communicating the same to top management
  • This position holder is responsible for gaining client acquisition and deliver revenue, gross margin targets as assigned in persons territory
  • This position holder has business and leadership responsibility and sets and executes the strategy to achieve profitable growth across the entire portfolio

Operational:

  • Responsible for building business relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Maintain and update, Sales and business development documents
  • Responsible for assisting team in providing data needs either internal | external
  • Communicating and collaborating with IT team from time to time for Application Development
  • Prioritizing Initiatives depending on business needs
  • Create and Understand requirement analysis with a view to address Client and Team needs
  • Regular and continuous monitoring project and initiative deliverables. Update & Onward share
  • Leveraging market insights and understanding brand gaps to acquire new clients
  • Networking on social platforms to create pitch for PPMS offering in order to penetrate into new categories
  • Responsible for achieving newer merchandising elements; gain insights from store visit; converting ideas into actions via creating a vendor network
  • Responsible for developing leads, creating pitch that is client customized seeking task acquisition for entire PPMS group companies. This includes deep delivery | client engagement, on Demand task execution and front end | manpower solutions.
  • Responsible for delivering target revenue and gross margin every month
  • Responsible for tabulating execution data, check and re check for data sanity, carry out edits as required.
  • Accountable for sharing data to client | internal team - activity closure report

Preferred candidate profile

Educational

  • Any Business/ Marketing oriented degree

Experience

  • 4-5 years of experience in business development

The

  • Not specific to industry. Retail/ FMCG/ Merchandising industry experience would be an added advantage

Technical Skills

  • Marketing and sales skills
