Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, customer engagement, and digital marketing. As our Business Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our products to potential customers and building our brand presence across digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Product Demonstrations: Conduct live product demonstrations of our Atlassian Marketplace apps and custom solutions to prospective customers via video calls, webinars, and presentations
  • Assist in preparing demo environments and presentation materials for client meetings
  • Support the sales team in lead qualification and customer onboarding processes
  • Participate in customer calls to understand requirements and showcase relevant solutions
  • Maintain customer interaction records and follow-up communications
  • Digital Marketing & Content Creation- Create engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram to promote our products and services
  • Develop visual content including graphics, infographics, and short videos showcasing our applications
  • Write compelling posts, captions, and marketing copy that resonates with our target audience
  • Monitor social media trends and suggest content strategies to increase engagement
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms using social media management tools
  • Business Development Support- Research potential clients and market opportunities in the Atlassian ecosystem
  • Assist in creating business proposals and marketing materials
  • Support lead generation activities through social media and digital channels
  • Help organize and participate in virtual events, webinars, and product launches
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand product features for effective communication


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to clients
  • Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram platforms, content trends, and audience engagement strategies
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable conducting product demos and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Content Creation: Basic skills in creating visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Tech-Friendly: Familiarity with software applications and quick to learn new tools and platforms
  • Customer-Focused: Natural ability to understand customer needs and communicate value propositions effectively
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain schedules, and meet deadlines
  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (BBA/ MBA/ BCA/ MCA preferred)


Preferred Skills

  • Atlassian Knowledge: Basic understanding of Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian tools is a plus
  • Video Creation: Experience with video editing tools for creating demo videos and social media content
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with customer relationship management tools
  • Analytics Understanding: Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics
  • B2B Experience: Previous experience in B2B environments or SaaS products is advantageous
