Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and securing new orders for the company’s garment products. The role involves understanding client requirements, coordinating with the merchandising and production teams, and ensuring smooth order execution to achieve sales targets and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international garment markets.
  • Contact potential buyers, brands, and retailers to introduce the company’s products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team for sampling, costing, and order execution.
  • Negotiate terms of business, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitors, and new customer segments.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Monitor order progress and follow up with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, marketing, or merchandising (preferably in the garment industry).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of export documentation and garment manufacturing processes is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Based in the company’s head office, with occasional travel to meet clients or attend trade events.
  • Coordination with internal teams — merchandising, sampling, production, and logistics.
