- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share for our solar software solutions.
- Identify and prospect potential companies within the solar industry to generate new business opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Conduct product presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solar software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships and providing regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, EPC processes, and the software solutions used in the industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel as and when required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Applicant requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering , Marketing, or a related field.MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years professional experience in Solar PV/Renewable Energy sales management required.
- Good Communication skills both (verbal and written),interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily and meet deadlines.
- Assertive, confident and clear communicator – via email, phone and face-to-face to internal and external customers.
- Excellent PC aptitude including CRM skills, Google applications and learning new IT applications.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Must be self-motivated, extremely thorough, have excellent organizational skills and professional integrity.
