Role Overview

Business Development Executive (BDE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across outsourcing platforms and direct B2B channels.
  • Create and submit professional proposals tailored to client requirements on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr.
  • Conduct lead generation via LinkedIn, email outreach, networking events, referrals, and digital campaigns.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships by understanding their business goals and offering the right technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal development and design teams for project estimation, timelines, and proposal drafting.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and communication using CRM tools.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development and lead generation in the IT services industry.
  • Strong understanding of outsourcing platforms and direct sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage client accounts and close deals independently.
  • Familiarity with digital services like web/mobile development, SaaS, and cloud solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools like Zoho, HubSpot, or equivalent.
  • Analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exposure to IT service sales (local or international markets).
