Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Management (B2C Focus)

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective students inquiring through the website, social media, phone calls, and walk-ins.
  • Proactively generate new leads through outbound calling campaigns, email marketing, and networking.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective leads within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ensuring accurate data entry and timely follow-ups.

2. Consultative Sales & Career Counseling

  • Conduct detailed counseling sessions with prospective students to understand their educational background, career aspirations, and skill gaps.
  • Recommend appropriate software courses and certification paths based on the student's profile and current industry trends.
  • Effective articulation of Softroniics’ unique value proposition (e.g., expert trainers, placement assistance, practical curriculum) to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets and revenue goals.

3. Institutional & Corporate Outreach (B2B - Optional but highly valued)

  • Identify and build relationships with local colleges and universities to organize workshops, seminars, and campus training programs.
  • Connect with corporate clients to explore opportunities for employee upskilling and corporate training packages.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Stay updated on the latest software trends, competitor offerings, and hiring demands in the tech industry.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and pipeline status to management.
  • Gather feedback from prospects to suggest improvements to our course offerings or marketing strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly student enrollment numbers vs. target.
  • Total revenue generated vs. target.
  • Lead-to-enrollment conversion percentage.
  • Volume of daily outbound calls and counseling sessions conducted.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (A background in IT/Computer Science is a "plus" but not mandatory, provided the candidate has strong sales aptitude).
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or inside sales. Experience in the EdTech, education sector, or service industry is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (and local language, if required). The ability to explain complex concepts simply is crucial.
  • Empathy & Listening: Strong active listening skills to genuinely understand a student's career anxieties and goals.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to persuade, negotiate, handle objections, and close deals. Must be target-oriented and resilient.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and standard office tools (MS Office/Google Workspace).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
