Job Description: Business Development Executive Position Overview The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, client presentations, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to closure. Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Lead Generation Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, social platforms, and industry events. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Client Relationship Management Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions or services. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations. Sales & Revenue Development Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and business pitches. Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively. Market Analysis & Strategy Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities. Provide insights to refine sales strategies and improve offerings. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align business goals. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM tools. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on leads, pipeline status, and sales performance. Participate in internal review meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). Core Skills Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Excellent research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Experience1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (industry experience is a plus).
