Job Title: Business Development Executive (Female Preferred)
Location: Infopark, Kakkanad
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our global client base, representing the company at international logistics conferences, and building long-term business relationships with partners and clients worldwide. Female candidates are preferred to support our diversity and client engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new international business opportunities in freight forwarding (air, sea, and road logistics).
  • Represent the company at global freight forwarding conferences, expos, and networking events to generate leads and establish partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth areas and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight agents, shipping lines, NVOCCs, customs brokers, and clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing in line with company policy and market standards.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth execution of shipments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM database with client interactions, leads, and follow-ups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis for conferences and client meetings.
  • Presentable, professional demeanor and client-focused attitude.
