Job Description

A Diagnostic Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the diagnostic and healthcare sectors, building relationships with clients like hospitals and clinics, and achieving sales targets. Key duties include developing sales strategies, presenting diagnostic products and services, negotiating contracts, and tracking sales performance to drive company growth. Responsibilities

  • Identify new business: Find and pursue new business opportunities within the diagnostic and healthcare sectors, using market research to identify trends and potential clients.
  • Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
  • Sales and promotion: Promote and sell diagnostic products and services through presentations, demonstrations, and meetings. This includes managing the sales funnel from lead generation to closing sales.
  • Strategy and planning: Create and execute strategic plans to achieve sales goals. This can involve collaborating with the marketing and product teams.
  • Negotiation and contracts: Negotiate pricing and contract terms with potential clients.
  • Reporting and analysis: Track sales activities, maintain client records, and prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
  • Event participation: Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company and build its network.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like business, marketing, or life sciences is typically required.
  • Experience: Proven sales experience, often with a minimum of 1-3 years, is necessary, preferably within the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
  • Sales skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Relationship-building: The ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with healthcare professionals is crucial.
  • Technical skills: Experience with CRM software and a strong understanding of market research are beneficial.
  • Diagnostic knowledge: Familiarity with diagnostic products and services is highly advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
