(CIA) Role: Business Development Executive Domains: Eco-friendly Stationery & Diaries, Hygiene Paper (tissues/napkins/toilet rolls), Corporate Gifts Location: Bangalore, KA (field travel within city; occasional outstation)  Employment: Full-Time | Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month + incentives Joining: Immediate Reporting To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) & BDM Work Days: 5.5 days/week (Saturday half-day for reviews/meetings) 🎯 Role Summary:You’ll be the feet-on-street and inside-sales driver for CIA’s eco-friendly product lines—generating demand, meeting buyers, onboarding distributors/retail partners, and supporting the BDM to convert opportunities across B2B (corporates, institutions) and retail channels (distributors, modern trade, reseller networks). Bangalore is the first focus market. 📦 Your Responsibilities: 1. Pipeline & Outreach 1.1 Run daily outreach: cold calls, WhatsApp/email follow-ups, appointment setting and meeting confirmations. 1.2 Map high-consumption clusters (corporates, hotels, hospitals, QSRs, campuses, retail chains) and build contact databases. 1.3 Prepare & carry samples, brochures, price lists; run basic demos/pitch conversations. 2. Channel Development (Retail & Distribution) 2.1 Identify and onboard distributors/wholesalers that service 30–40 outlets each; expand retail coverage systematically. 2.2 Track store-wise movement, shelf presence, and replenishment cycles; escalate supply issues proactively. 3. Enterprise (B2B) Support 3.1 Schedule and attend B2B meetings with the BDM; capture requirements, volumes, and decision cycles. 3.2 Submit visit notes, competitor intel, objections, and margin realities to refine the GTM. 4. CRM & Reporting 4.1 Maintain clean CRM: lead source, contact details, meeting status, samples issued, quotes sent, and next steps. 4.2 Share weekly MIS: calls made, meetings done, trials initiated, closures/projections. 5. Market Intelligence 5.1 Track pricing, pack sizes, usage norms, procurement windows by segment; share on-ground learnings with BDM/CMO. 5.2 Suggest micro-campaigns (festive diary season, hotel housekeeping audits, corporate sustainability weeks). What Good Looks Like (Sample KPIs) Daily: 30–40 outreach activities (calls + DMs + emails); 4–6 quality conversations. Weekly: 8–10 meetings (B2B + channel); 2–3 sample trials initiated; 1–2 distributor conversations. Monthly: Consistent funnel growth; documented wins and learnings. Candidate Requirements 1–3 years in B2B/B2C field or inside sales (FMCG, stationery, hygiene, corporate gifting preferred). Strong freshers welcome. Confident communication; English required, Kannada/Hindi preferred. Comfortable with Google Workspace/MS Office & CRM; disciplined documentation. Own laptop; two-wheeler preferred. Ethical, persistent, and organized. Compensation & Logistics Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month + performance incentives. Travel Reimbursement: ₹3.50/km (approved outstation at actuals). Tools: CRM access provided.
