JD – Sales Executive – Cochin Shop Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Department: Sales Location: Cochin Shop
Qualification - Any degree ( MBA Preferred)
Experience -1 Year
Role Purpose: To achieve sales growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring timely follow-up on all leads. The Sales Executive will act as the frontline representative of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the Sales Manager in achieving overall revenue targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Execution & Target Achievement ● Achieve individual monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by the Sales Manager. ● Conduct daily field visits, calls, and follow-ups with potential and existing customers. ● Convert leads into confirmed sales through consultative selling and product knowledge. ● Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, quotations, and transactions. 2. Customer Relationship Management ● Maintain a 100% response rate for customer inquiries within 24 hours. ● Regularly visit customers to strengthen relationships and identify new requirements. ● Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive service and issue resolution. ● Collect feedback and share improvement suggestions with the Sales Manager. 3. Market Expansion & Lead Generation ● Identify and explore new leads in nearby municipalities and untapped zones. ● Participate in marketing campaigns, promotions, and local events to generate awareness. ● Conduct field surveys and competitor analysis to gather market insights. 4. Reporting & Coordination ● Submit daily activity reports and weekly sales summaries to the Sales Manager. ● Update CRM or lead tracking systems consistently with customer and pipeline data. ● Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery. ● Assist in preparing monthly revenue forecasts and marketing activity reports. 5. Marketing Support ● Support digital marketing activities (WhatsApp Business, Google My Business, social media). ● Distribute promotional materials and ensure visibility in assigned territories. ● Suggest innovative ideas for local branding and customer retention initiatives. Performance Indicators: ● Sales Target Achievement (% vs. goal) ● Lead Conversion Rate ● Customer Retention Rate ● Daily Call/Visit Compliance ● Revenue per Customer ● Customer Feedback Score Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field). ● 1–3 years of sales or customer service experience (FMCG, retail, or recycling/waste management preferred). ● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. ● Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and WhatsApp Business communication. ● Self-motivated with strong ownership and time management skills. ● Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred for field mobility. Growth Path: High-performing Sales Executives can progress to Senior Sales Executive or Assistant Sales Manager, with added responsibilities in territory management and team supervision.
