Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Developer with a strong focus on both client relationship management and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities, while also taking a pivotal role in nurturing existing client relationships and overseeing the performance and development of a dedicated team of digital marketing professionals. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record in sales and team management within the digital marketing sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking to expand EvolveSocially's client base. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and contract closure. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential new service offerings. Represent EvolveSocially at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Proactively understand client business objectives, challenges, and evolving digital marketing needs to offer tailored solutions. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through regular communication, strategic insights, and effective problem-solving. Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional EvolveSocially services to existing clients. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project managers, strategists) to ensure seamless service delivery and client success. 3. Employee & Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of digital marketing specialists, strategists, and account managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members, ensuring they stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment. Assist in resource allocation and workload management within the team to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of professionals. Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Deep understanding of digital marketing disciplines (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content Marketing, Analytics, Web Development). Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
