E-commerce Growth Manager – Business Development

  • Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and launch

    new categories & products

    with strong market potential.
  • Expand BEYOBO’s presence on

    new e-commerce platforms

    (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, JioMart, Tata Cliq, Meesho, Shopsy, and international marketplaces).
  • Build strong relationships with category managers of these platforms to drive visibility and growth.
  • 2. Sales Monitoring & Leadership

  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance across all platforms

    and take corrective action.
  • Give strategic direction to online sales teams

    to maximize revenue, improve conversion rates, and scale winning products.
  • Lead and mentor the

    Amazon, Flipkart, and cross-platform sales teams

    .
  • Drive

    P&L ownership

    for categories, ensuring profitability and sustainable scaling.
  • Motivate, guide, and inspire hustlers—ensuring accountability and discipline in daily sales execution.
  • 3. Market Analysis & Forecasting

  • Conduct

    trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, and pricing strategy

    .
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory procurement to avoid stockouts or dead stock.
  • Use

    data-driven insights

    to decide which products/categories to scale aggressively.
  • 4. Product Development & Strategy

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to

    develop products tailored for Indian and global markets

    .
  • Suggest packaging, branding, and private label opportunities for higher margins.
  • Pilot new launches, track performance, and scale successful SKUs.
  • 5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with

    operations, catalog, accounts, marketing, and China sourcing teams

    .
  • Ensure smooth handover from

    procurement → listing → marketing → order fulfillment → GRN reconciliation

    .
  • Skills & Experience Required

  • 5–8 years

    of hands-on experience in

    e-commerce business growth, sales, or category management

    .
  • Proven success in

    scaling categories and monitoring sales

    on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.
  • Strong

    analytical skills (IQ)

    and

    people leadership skills (EQ)

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Excel, data analysis, forecasting tools

    , and marketplace dashboards.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with marketplace stakeholders.
