Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and strategic partners
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, trade shows, and digital channels
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with customers
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development
  • Manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Track competitor activities and recommend strategic actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop growth strategies
  • Strong relationship-building and customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • MBA or technical background is an added advantage

Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the manufacturing or industrial sector
  • Experience working with B2B clients and long sales cycles
