About Tutemate

Tutemate is an upcoming learning platform focused on making students industry-ready, not just certificate-rich. We work on practical learning, workshops, and early career exposure.

We’re now building our on-ground growth team and are looking for people who can speak to students, understand real problems, and drive results on the ground.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for student outreach, revenue generation, and growth execution in and around Dehradun.

You will act as the frontline representative of Tutemate, working directly with students, campus contacts, and internal teams to drive enrollments and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage revenue-focused relationships with students, Campus Ambassadors, and college representatives
  • Actively pitch and sell Tutemate workshops, programs, and early-access offerings
  • Plan and execute sales-driven seminars, orientations, and campus activations
  • Convert student interest into paid registrations through follow-ups, counseling, and closing
  • Own the end-to-end student acquisition funnel: lead → follow-up → conversion
  • Manage and monetize WhatsApp groups and campus communities for lead nurturing and conversions
  • Execute digital and offline lead-generation campaigns at the campus level
  • Maintain daily sales reports, lead trackers, follow-up logs, and conversion metrics
  • Capture objection patterns and market feedback and share insights with the core sales team

Who Should Apply

  • Graduates or final-year students (any stream)
  • Comfortable with on-field work and direct student interaction
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and follow-up skills
  • Self-driven, disciplined, and accountable
  • Interest in EdTech, startups, sales, or growth roles
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, campus activities, or student leadership is a plus (not mandatory)
