Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a marketing company, and will be fluent in English (written and oral). This role requires a proactive individual who is willing to achieve sales targets, travel to client offices within and outside the city, and frequently visit our Shillong office. Candidates from the North-East region are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Business Development and Sales: Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients. Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships. Regularly follow up with clients to address their needs and provide excellent service. Travel and Client Visits: Travel to client offices both within and outside the city as required to build rapport and close deals. Frequently visit the Shillong office for meetings, collaborations, and updates. Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities and industry trends. Provide actionable insights to enhance service offerings and marketing strategies. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and market activities. Prepare regular reports for management on business development performance. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development role, preferably in a marketing agency. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Skills: Fluent in English (both written and oral). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes. Familiarity with the North-East region and local market dynamics. Preferred Candidate: Female candidates Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
