This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: BengaluruJobType: full-timeWe are seeking an experienced

Business Analyst

to act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process improvement, and delivering actionable insights that support business growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable functional specifications.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, QA) to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
Develop use cases, workflows, wireframes, and data models to capture business requirements.
Perform data analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet defined business objectives.
Prepare detailed documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and user manuals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software development.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and SQL (basic querying).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in domains such as BFSI, E-commerce, or SaaS.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Exposure to API documentation and integration processes.
