Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering

  :
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, including the product manager, architects, and SMEs, to capture detailed business needs.
• Lead workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collect and document technical requirements, including scalability, reliability, availability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Draft business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories.

• Translation to Technical Teams

  :
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications that the development and testing teams can implement.
• Work closely with developers to ensure their understanding of business objectives and use cases.
• Ensure all requirements are aligned with microservices architecture principles as outlined by the enterprise architect.
• Define data flow diagrams, mockups, and wireframes for technical teams.

• Sprint Planning and Prioritization

  :
• Participate in PI planning to ensure that the highest priority user stories are delivered in each iteration.
• Work with Scrum Master to prioritize backlog items for each sprint, ensuring alignment with the overall roadmap and business goals.
• Manage the scope and refine user stories through continuous feedback and refinement.

• Validation and Testing Support

  :
• Collaborate with the E2E testing team to validate that the application meets business and functional requirements.
• Support the testing team in writing and validating test cases to ensure no functional gaps.
• Help facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure any issues are documented and resolved.
• Communicate any changes in requirements effectively to all relevant teams.

• Documentation

  :
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, system architecture, and user stories.
• Ensure that all documentation is updated and shared with relevant stakeholders regularly.
• Maintain non-functional requirements related to performance, scalability, and security.

Tools & Technologies

• JIRA/Confluence for backlog management, user stories, and documentation.
• MS Visio or Lucidchart for process flow and architecture diagrams.
• Wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq) to create mockups.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and microservices architecture.
• Experience working in Agile SAFe environments with PI planning and backlog refinement.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
