Job Summary

The Business Analyst, reporting directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), is a key contributor to bridging product vision, business needs, and technical execution within our venture studio model. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing requirements for healthcare technology products and services. You'll play a vital role in shaping innovative solutions, contributing to product process improvements, and ensuring our product offerings align seamlessly with strategic business objectives and patient-centric outcomes. Strong collaboration with our Go-to-Market (GTM) and Operations teams is essential to ensure seamless product launch and efficient post-launch processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Requirements & Analysis:
  • Work closely with the CPTO, Product Managers, and venture leadership to understand market needs, patient journeys, and strategic objectives for new healthcare ventures.
  • Analyze Digital platforms, Operational healthcare workflows, system integrations, and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
  • Act as a key liaison between product, engineering, design, clinical, and operations teams to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams (Sales, Marketing, Business Development) and Operations teams to gather their requirements, understand operational constraints, and ensure product designs support effective market entry and scalable operations.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and articulate business needs effectively to technical teams.
  • Support stakeholder expectation management and foster collaborative relationships across venture teams.
  • Data-Driven Analysis & Solution Support:
  • Utilize strong Excel and SQL skills to perform in-depth data analysis, extract insights from various data sources, and support data-driven decision-making for product features and process improvements.
  • Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tools to visualize data, create dashboards, and communicate key insights to stakeholders, enabling better understanding and faster decision-making.
  • Support product managers and engineering leads and Marketing Leads in evaluating proposed technical solutions against business requirements and product goals.
  • Process Contribution:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development and business analysis processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum, Lean Startup), and tools within the venture studio.

Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ECBA, CSPO, Agile certifications) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a product-focused role.
  • Mandatory: Proven experience working in the healthcare or health-tech industry, with an understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and patient-centric design.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with Go-to-Market (Sales, Marketing, Business Development) and Operations teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup, or venture studio environment is highly desirable.
