We are seeking a Business Analyst (Project Delivery) to bridge the gap between customers, delivery teams, and product engineering. The role focuses on understanding client requirements, analyzing business processes, collecting operational data, and preparing To-Be documentation that guides solution design and implementation. You will play a key part in ensuring that engineering customers’ business objectives are effectively translated into software specifications and digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Understanding & Analysis
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather and document functional requirements for engineering software or digital transformation projects.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis sessions.
  • Translate business needs into use cases, user stories, and workflow definitions.
  • Validate requirements through prototypes or mock-ups when applicable.
2. Business Process Mapping
  • Analyze current (“As-Is”) processes within Engineering domains.
  • Identify process gaps, redundancies, and automation opportunities.
  • Define and document the optimized (“To-Be”) process for software implementation.
  • Create process flow diagrams, swimlane charts, and data flow maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
3. Business Data Collection & Validation
  • Collect and analyze business, operational, and engineering data relevant to the project.
  • Work with domain experts to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support creation of data dictionaries, integration mapping documents, and master data templates.
  • Collaborate with QA to define acceptance criteria based on business data and workflows.
4. Documentation & Delivery Support
  • Prepare and maintain key BA artifacts:
  • BRD (Business Requirement Document)
  • FRD (Functional Requirement Document)
  • To-Be Process Document
  • User Stories / Use Case Specifications
  • Traceability Matrix
  • Assist delivery teams during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and client validation cycles.
  • Support training and handover documentation for customer onboarding.
5. Collaboration
  • Liaise between customers, developers, QA, and solution architects to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of agile project delivery.
  • Support pre-sales or solution scoping when business domain insights are required.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirement elicitation, and documentation.
  • Experience in engineering domains preferred.
  • Hands-on with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SQL / data models / integration concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management.
  • Exposure to CAD/BIM/PLM or ERP software in engineering environments.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP / PMI-PBA)
  • Familiarity with digital twin, automation, or cloud transformation concepts is an advantage.
